Veterinary Laboratory Assistant
Venus is a Veterinary Laboratory Assistant at Warman Veterinary Services. She manages daily laboratory operations, which include maintaining all laboratory biosecurity measures, processing and coordinating diagnostic samples, and effectively communicating with veterinarians and clients.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Bioscience from the University of Saskatchewan. Her interest in large animal health—specifically swine—began during a summer placement at Prairie Swine Centre and grew through her research with the Swine Ethology and Welfare Group at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
Since joining the Warman Veterinary Services team in Fall 2024, Venus has been excited to bring her knowledge and skills to the job.
